Innovation and Creativity
All ideas are precious and should be sheltered and allowed to mature in their own time.
In order to be innovative you need to have an avenue, or a freedom, to express and nurture your creativity. Freedom to express your creativity means that you are free to let all creative ideas come through you without judgment by you or anyone else.It is only after you record your ideas that you sort through them to decide;
- Which ideas to act on now
- Which ideas seem useful but will be saved for later
- Which ideas to toss
- And my favorite....Which ideas do not seem to be readily useful but are still intriguing to you. You don't want to lose these ideas so file them away in a special place, your "idea box".
Look back through your "idea box" periodically. Ideas that seemed to have no use or purpose when they first presented themselves may suddenly become perfect for your current needs.
